Portville Hall of Fame
Gerard Christopher served as administrator in the Portville Central School
District from 1967 to 1990, twelve years as High School Principal and eleven
as Superintendent of the District. He initiated and oversaw the institution of
many educational programs including Advanced Placement Courses in English
and Science and an extensive building and remodeling project. Gerry was an
active member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and very involved
in the sports and music programs at the school.
