Portville Hall of Fame
Dr. Robert Rasey was elected to the Portville Central School Board of
Education for twenty-six years serving as President from 1994 to 1999. A very
active member of Portville’s Sports Booster Club, he kept the clock for the
football games and was a familiar figure at all the sports programs at the
school. For many years, he donated his skills as veterinarian for the local
chapter of the Future Farmers of America. He has been a member of the New
York State Veterinary Medical Society since 1958 and has practiced in
Westons Mills since 1959.
